"I founded Windowman in 1983 with a lad who started straight from school, and has worked for us for over 14 years.

"We have three teams of fitters. One is my son Sy (supervisor), who has been involved with us since he was twelve, helping after school and in his holidays. My other son Sam has been working with us since he finished his GNVQ. Bob and Sam make up a team of which Bob (fitter) has many years experience in the installation of windows and small building works. Another team is Paul Andrews and Neil, another experienced team and high standard workers of which Paul has over 12 years experience in window installations and Neil is also a city and guilds qualified brick layer which comes in handy when we build conservatories and porches.

"And of course myself. I have over 25 years experience and am also a qualified engineer.

"I have deliberately kept the company small. It is myself and Sy you meet for quotations, and of course the fitters named above for all installations.

"We do all the work, from ground-work to the finish product which means you don't have different tradesmen in and out of your home."
